If i put a carberated victor jr on my 351 will i have to buy a new distributor or will the stock one fit.

you would have to get a vacuum advance dist. if you dont already have one

Does anyone know why msd sells a distributor only for the 351w with the victor jr intake.

For clearance issues with the bottom/base of the distributor to the victor jr on the crossover behind the distributor.

I have seen people just grind a little off of each the dist and the intake.

It will make your life alot easier to just get the MSD dist, plus it is a pretty nice piece.

I just used the msd dizzy but not the one for the victor jr intake just there standard dizzy with no problems
