WHY IN THE WORLD IS MY 95 GT ONLY GETTING 8-9 MILES A GALLON.I DRIVE IT NORMAL. EVERYTHING IS WELL WELL WELL MAINTAINED AND ITS ALWAYS RUNNING ICE COLD (GUESSING THATS THE DAMN ISSUE) ITS STOCK AND 5 SPEED
HELP LOL I NEVER HAVE HAD THIS ISSUE WITH ANY OTHER STANGS! THE ONE IM SELLING *THE 94 GT* GETS ALMOST 20 MILES A GALLON!!!

ya its normal i know for 5.0's to have bad MPG duh...but this is rediculously bad for being stock and maintained like a champ

timing is a big cause of bad gas mileage....maybe thats a reason?

Obvious things might be tire pressure, clean air filter. Try some fuel injection cleaner. Maybe it's time to change your o2 sensors.

If it's running cold, it probably is running rich.
Find out why it's not warming up.
Are you sure it's running cold ? does your heater work ?
Do you have a "fail open " thermostat ?
Also you might check iat sensor .

YA ITS ALL STOCK.... NEW OIL,PLUGS ETC ETC ITS TUNED UP..RUNS FANTASTIC
ALL I HAVE DONE TO IT IS INTAKE, SHORT RAM..SIMPLE SH**
ITS NOT WARMING UP,AND YES THE GAUGES ARE WORKING.THE OIL PRESSURE IS PERFECT AS WELL.IM HEARING IT MAY BE A THERMASTAT ISSUE SO I GUESS IM GONNA LOOK INTO THAT ?? !!!
AND YA ABOUT 8 MPG.HORRIBLE.

changed plugs and did a ANOTEHR good quality tune up still sucking up gas

1. pull codes 2 take out the thermostat , check to see if it is closed ( should be closed when cold) put it in a pot of water on your stove, turn on the heat, borrow your wifes meat thermometer ,( make sure she doesn't see this) and and make sure it opens around 180-190 degrees .
