I posted before on what tire sizes i could run on my 87 fox lowered 1/-1/2 to 2 inches with 18x10 and 18x9 rims but forgot to mention it was an SVO 5 lug 4 wheel disc brake set up that im converting to. Is there a difference between the SVO spacing and regular fox spacing? i dont want to waste a ton of money on tires and not have them work Thanks for the help! [patriot]

yes, the backspacing on the SVO is different than say 94-04 mustang wheels. i.e. 2001 mustang bullitt rims cannot fit on an SVO set up. 2005+ bullitt rims will work though, as they have the correct offset.

hmmm, well i have the FR500 rims 18x10 and 18x9. Ive called around and seems like there not gonna fit! its all stock specs as far as suspension is concerned except the lowering part, i have a fender roller at my dispense, but im still not sure if that will make it work. If the rims arent gonna work with the SVO set up should i just dump it and get a sn95 conversion? Any input would be greatly apprecieted. thanks [Frown]

if you end up going with the sn95 conversion, i'd stay with 94-95 set up. the PRB calipers on the 96+ make the wheels stick out a little further than the 94/95 setup. as far as wheels go, americanmuslce.com sells the FR500 wheels with the correct offset for 2005+ mustangs if you wanna go that route. you would be able to keep the SVO disc brake set up after all.

also, if you stick with the 94/95 - 04 set up, you have a lot more wheel choices.. it's up to you. good luck.
