Ok I am looking into heads for my 393w project. I don't have 2k for AFR 225 but I am looking at Victor Jr., strike force, and procomp. Any ideas out there guys?

Out of those I would get the Vic JR heads no contest. They are a proven HP making head. Plus allot of companies have cnc programs for porting them if you later decide to step up.

Thats what I was thinking but I can't find any info about the good or bad. But with you get into the other heads it seems to be 50/50. I know some chevy guys that are running the procomp heads and have no problem with them. But I think the Victor Jr.s will work out the best now and far into the future.

ive got the 215 runner rhs heads on my 408, again havent run it yet, but they are hands down the cleanest casting right out of the box. basically no flash and they fit a 1262 gasket almost perfectly. they are more than worth the money and arent as expensive as the jrs
