From what I've seen, You should be fine man. Just clean it off. I wirewheeled a little rust off one of my miata motors, it did leave some small scratches, so i dont recommend it, but it worked. Im sure there are other ways, like steel wool. Goodluck.

You'll be fine. Spray everything down with WD40 and wipe off with a coarse rag (shop rag). If it won't come off, use 800 grit wetsand paper WITH a light mineral oil; clean everything up with brake parts cleaner.

Nope, don't sweat it. DO make sure all your freeze plugs are good while it's out...you don't wanna find out the hard way.

John,
Finishing one of those projects would minimize the rust that forms on everythng from sitting...
J/K man... what are you building the 351 to put in?

just buy my 385 and be done with it. No need to go out and find parts.
