My current motor is blown and needs to be replaced. Does anyone know what year/s motor can I directly bolt into my 1993 chp notchback? ie: 1995?? If anyone can help I would greatly apreciate it! Or if you have motor that will work for me please let me know. [ February 21, 2008, 11:54 PM: Message edited by: FASTFUZZ ]

I was looking at a '95 complete engine. From what you've told me, it looks like I should be able to use the long block and just add all the extra componets from my current engine. If there is any complicated issues in doing this I might run into, I'd apreciate a heads up! Thanks for the help!

I'm "pretty" sure a 95 motor will fit. However, the intake is different (or maybe it's just the elbow )

the block is the same, the pulleys and the accessory brackets are different, but you can swap all that stuff over from your old engine.
You should have gotten a pre'92 engine as they came with forged pistons, but since you already had hyper. pistons in your '93 don't sweat it.
