The low-cost fix is a rebuild trac-lok with a truck spring and/or extra clutch.

what about the trac-loc from summit? do you guys think its worth the 200+ dollars or would I be better off spending 400-500 on a auburn etc.?
im making roughly 360whp right now w/welded torque boxes, rear upper and lowers, and stock t-5. I'm shooting for 400+ hp in the future, will a new trac-loc handle it? thanks.

The 31-spline unit in my Cobra has held for 3+ YEARS....700+ hp.

If you've got the $, you may as well upgrade the diff and axles to 31-spline.
