ok, so i recently added a blower to my car and i knew the trans wouldnt take the increase in power i put to it. but, i didnt know it would go as quickly as it did. the other day it got stuck in 4th gear. STUCK! the clutch works fine and all that, i know its somethin inside the trans (gear, syncro, etc) i can still drive the car i just have to avoid 3rd and 4th. what do you guys think? i plan on buying a rebuild kit for it and doin it myself. any suggestions? thnx

I hope you either A)have a lot of time on your hands to do the teardown and buildup or B)have a friend who's done this before. I wouldn't advise a teardown/build for a first-timer, it's alot of work.

Only one way to learn. It isnt rocket science. Dont be intimidated, but DO have ALOT of time on your hands.
This will help out tremendously.
Remember, no one started out knowing everything it was all learned.
