Author Topic: New Cali emmisions test heads up Ricks Hot Rod Lincoln ¯ Member # 7637 posted                                 I went in to smog my '90 Lincoln MarkVII (Just think of it as an overweigt Mustang) I passed the sniff test with flying colors (1st time in 4 years.), gas cap good, but they have a new test (it was started on Dec 1st) that they perform on 1995 and older cars where the pressurize the fuel tank and the hoses to see if there is any leakage, well my Lincoln failed that test. The test only center said that he has seen mostly Fords failing this test.
