That was 7 years ago and it was an EAGLE crankshaft. I am not sure if they have improved but the second 331 had an EAGLE crankshaft and it was fine.<br /><br />That is my PERSONAL experience.<br /><br />Never dealt with 351 cranks from them. When I was considering a kit a while back, Ford was using Scat cranks in their 392 stroker motors, although now, as reported in Hot Rod Magazine, they are using Eagle stuff in their Boss motors. Most of the parts from both companies are at least cast/forged in China, and then machined in the U.S. Does the fact that Ford switched suppliers say anything about an improvement/decline in quality? I consider them the same as far as crankshafts go.
