I have an 89 and when its plugged in and I let the clutch out it tried to die , when I unplug its while its running the clutch is fine but when I turn it off and try to start it , it won't start unless the plug is in , so I'm trying to bypass it but can't figure it out any help?

if you want to bypass it you can either splice the wires or just jump it with a test lead or paper clip.

dont leave it in gear or always make sure your foot is on the clutch when you start it.

Ya I didn't think of the paper clip thing thanks. And I always start the car with my foot in the clutch so its no big deal
