Runs like a dream. Thing has wicked low end and revs hella fast. Doesn't matter what gear you're in... just press the loud pedal and it goes faster. I'm still working out the tuning but at least the break-in is done. It's really a lot of fun... can't imagine why Ford didn't offer these to start with.
In case you're curious: it's a +.020 5.4 block (335cid), forged 10.5:1 pistons, H-beam's, ARP studs all the way through, hard bearings, HV oil pump, Fox Lake stage 2 heads, comp xe270's, ported HPS intake, ported Reichard adapter plates, PP plenum & 75mm TB, and MMR fuel rails (re-installing this weekend, back to stock for today) on 21# injectors. There's 32lb squirters waiting to be needed. Connected up to the stock 3650 with an Apex kevlar clutch and Fidanza aluminum flywheel. I've got a set of UDP's to put on and a few little details to tend to but it's running and keeping me happy.

I'd avoid the UDP's if I was you, I've heard of nothing but bad news from tech guys talking about it destroying the oil pump.
sounds like a sweet combo though, I still kind of wish I'd have ran across a deal on a 5.4 shortblock, but I'm pretty happy with my mark8 DOHC setup, 7k rpm is fun
