i have an 89 mustang gt it has a 306 block,twisted wedge heads,bigger cam, intake cold air, 24 ingectors ,ajustable fuel pressure guage, fuel presure guage, msd box ,roller rockers ,new battery and a new starter. my problem is ill start my car it will run like a champ but once i turn it off i have to wait like 40 min or longer for it to start again what do u think that is. also how many pound of fuel should i be running

run your fuel pressure about 38-40. Is your started wired up right and silinoid? Those would most likely cause that problem

Sounds like the TFI is overheating. Pull it off and have it checked.

Had a similar problem and it ended up being a bad coil wire [Mad] . Would run fine till it warmed up then would die and would'nt start till it cooled off.

Double check to make sure your grounds and the wire going to your starter are tight.

If you are running long tube headers you could be heating up the starter.

I JUST REPLACED MY TFI ,MADE SURE ALL MY WIRES TO THE STARTRER WERE TIGHT WHEN I REPLACED IT AND REPLACED ALL MY WIRES

Chek engine light on? Might want tot check for codes?

sounds like this could be the problem. had a similar issue w/ my carwhen the positive lead tothe starter wasnt tight so whenever i would restart t he engine after driving for awhile, the starter would drag or not turn at all until i let the starter/engine cool long enough. it could also be that your starter is going south.
