I DID BUT AFTER TUNE I BOUGHT A BIGGER MASS AIR 90MM SCT MAF AND A ANDERSON POWER PIPE ALSO INSTALLED QTP ELECTRIC CUT OUTS.WHEN I WENT BACK FOR THE 2ND TUNE WITH NEW PARTS MY CARS FUEL SPIKED AT 4700 RPM.KIETH SAID HE WONT FINISH TUNE UNTILL I FIX PROBLEM. I DONT LIKE THE WAY HE CONDUCTS HIS BUISSNESS SO I WILL TAKE MY MONEY ELSEWHERE!

i got my car chipped and tuned at Apex and have had no problems. Good bunch of Guys there George is very knowledgeable.

The reason he probably won't finish the tune is that he cannot finish a tune (safe that is) that has a mechanical issue (ie lack of fuel). You can only tune around certain issues and fuel starvation is not one of them. I guess you can tune to have very low timing/spark to accommodate the lack of fuel, but the car would run like a dog so there wouldn't be a point of trying to tune it in the first place..

What do you mean by the "fuel spiked"? Are u running out of fuel after 4700 RPM or is the fuel pressure jumping up for some reason?

at 4700 the pump must have spiked cuzz the air fuel went real lean. then jumped back up. am going to fix the problem with a new 255 pump and a kenne bell boost a pump.if that dont work the cars going to the river.

Sounds like very strange behavior. You should install a fuel pressure gauge and make sure there are no fluxuations in fuel pressure. That might tell you if you have a problem with your pump.
255 w/ boost a pump should make sure you have enough fuel.

If you are running a standard GT tank without modifying basket that the fuel pump sits in you are most likey just draining the basket and starving the actually pump for fuel. If this is the case, a new pump and BAP isn't going to do anything for you.
We see this problem all the time on +425 RWHP cars above 4500 rpm's. The more demand on the pump, the sooner the basket goes dry and the sooner the car spikes lean.

yea man i hear ya . i pulled out the pump and modified the basket by drilling 3 half inch holes on the bottom and 3 on the front of it. so the pump wont run dry.
