I don't know if it's proper etiquette to start a new thread, but my car now has a new cap, rotor, plugs, wires, coil, distributor, PCM, mass air and TFI, and it STILL won't take any throttle when it's warmed up. Jump on it and it misses and stumbles really bad. TPS tests good. Idles smooth, runs fine as long as I feather the throttle and keep the revs down.

No codes. The dealer says the fuel pump is making 35lbs, but I don't know if that's under load or what.

What's the best test to find a bad cat? Just put my hand behind the tailpipe?

This is making me crazy. Somebody at the Corral said it took him a year before he fixed it with a new ECU. Say it ain't so . . . What next?

Easiest check is drive it for an extended time...then look under the car. The cats will be glowing if they're clogged. Otherwise, pull it and visually check.

And yes, please keep the posts confined to a single thread... [Smile]
