ok so i just put the AOD that i bought off the board in the car. before i just didnt have 4th but with the new tranny all i have is 1st and 2nd. while im driving the car feels and sounds like it wants to shift into 3rd but i just wont do it. the linkage and the TV cable are adjusted right but i just dont know where to start

If you still have you old tranny, measure the shifter arm on the side of each of the tranny's. If they are different lengths that may be your problem???
