Just had high NO numbers , max is 799 and it hit a 1067 , any suggestions ? Smog tech said bad egr sensor , could it be anything else and if I replace it is there a anything else I can do to help make sure the numbers get lower? Lmk I'm tryin to take it back and get a retest tomorrow afternoon thanks.

Get an extra spout connector and take out the two metal connectors inside. Replace this modified spout connector with your stock connector this will stop your timing from advancing during the test, DONT DRIVE VERY FAR THIS WAY IT WILL GET YOUR CATS RED HOT, if it doesnt pass then your cats arent working good enough but it should work if two of your cats are good.

I had the same problem, almost exactly the same numbers too... I had two vaccum lines with leaks and did the test at a shop .4 of a mile away from my house. I changed the lines,and my oil and drove for an hour and a half before getting to the shop and i passed.

I'd check for vacuum leaks also, the EGR might be fine but if it's not getting vacuum than it won't be functioning during the test.

Ok ima do a leak test and clean up the egr , then make me a lil special spout connector and cross my fingers
