This is my first time doing anything with a carb. I need to hook up the throttle cable and kickdown on a 69 Mustang to a Holley 650dp. Is there any inexpensive bracket that can be used for the time being?

for the kick-down, i just use a 1/4" bolt with washers and a ny-lock nut. if there is a stud on the carb to the KD already, there is an "E" clip that is supposed to fit in the groove.

i can't remember if it's a rod or a cable. so if it's a cable, the GM adapter works well with a ball stud. if it's the rod type, push nuts work great for securing the rod to the carb.
