hi im new to the forum
I have a 93'5.0 5spd,BBK shorty's,BBK O/R H,MSD(cap,rotor,wires,coil,6a), 3.73's, y otro shit 95k milage
my car is havig a problem running cool.
i have already purchased Ron Davis aluminium Radiator and a Tauras 2 speed fan/shroud
do you think this setup will be enough to keep my engine cool??
i also have a 160 thermostat already installed
the car has never overheated on me but some times it will run 3/4 on the gauge but usually it runs at half
about how hot is half way on the temp gauge??
any recommendations on the fan speed control??
i kno its alot of noob stuff but....ima Noob lol

Make sure you seal the fan, I used that weatherstrip tape stuff to fill the gaps. I run my fan on the low setting, if you plan to run on the high setting you should at least check your alt if not replace it with a 3g.
Also, make sure to get a 100 amp relay from the controller to the fan.
Check your timing, are you pinging?

timing is set stock,10 deg BTDC IIRC
but i'll prolly get a 185 thermo...
what are the benefits of opening 15 degree later???

it allows the coolant to remain in the radiator longer, which cools it more
