I am curious to know if it is an anyway possible to run 11.1.1 compression on pump gas. If so, how?
Or what is the highest compresion that can be runn on pump fuel?

This is for a 347ci block.

Well,
Not a simple answer. Static compression, combustion chamber design, aluminum vs. iron, dynamic compression (ie how big your cam is plus rest of combo), cooling efficiency, ignition timing...

Yes, 11:1 will work w/ good Al heads, good sized cam, good cooling, more gear than stock.

THe cam I want to go with is the CompCam xe 282hr, I hope to get AFR 205 heads, high flow water pump. aluminum radiator and even a 165 thermostat to keep things cooler.

What you think?

imo, i think the 205's seem a bit too much. 185's should do fine.

i could be wrong, but just my .02

205s would work depending on what intake.U would need to go with a vic style intake to utilize the head at high rpm.

i WOULD LIKE 205 HEADS BUT IF I STICK TO 185'S THAT LEAVES SOME CASH FOR PORT WORK SO I THINK I MIGHT LEAN TOWARD THE 185'S.

wHAT KIND OF RWHP NUMBERS CAN I EXPECT FROM A N/A 10.5.1 347ci? XE828HR cam, AFR 185's W/ STAGE 2 PORTING, AND OUT DA BOX TFS R INTAKE.
