I am going to be doing a 5 lug swap very soon. For anyone who has done a 5 lug swap for a 93 cobra I have some questions.

I was told that to use my existing rear disc brakes/calipers I would have to use northrace brackets and rotors from a Mach1 or SN95 cobra. However, I was also told by someone else that the rotors from a mach1 or sn95 cobra will not work because they are 11.65" versus the 10" 93 cobra rotors.

Can someone who is 100% sure please chime in! Any help is appreciated.

No, you cannot use Mach/Cobra rotors and those brackets. There is over 1" in difference between the originals and the Mach/Cobras.

I woulda replied to your PM, but they're full...

What is the other option John B? To redrill the 4 lug rotors to 5 lug? Or buy Sn 95 calipers/brackets ?

Will I also need the SN95 brackets? Or just the calipers? Edit: I will also be using Fox length axles if that makes any difference

I just redrilled my 4 lug rotors to 5 on my 93 Cobra.
Worked fine. I didn't have to buy brackets, etc. Charlie Bruno's idea.

How do you redrill 4 lug rotors? Do you plug the holes and then drill new ones, and how do you get the lug pattern right?

Dunno if I'd drill them. That's taking alot of material away from the rotor hat, not to mention the SN rotors are only $25 ea brand new.

FYI, I'm in the process of making a caliper bracket to work with Fox length axles and disc brakes. Will work with Turbocoupe/Cobra/SN-95 brake parts. PM if interested.
