alright so as the user name states.. im a rookie.

The other night I parked my 89 lx in front of the sandwich shop, where I was in for no more than 30 mins. Finally got my dinner.. ready to tear up my sandwich, and all of a sudden my key wouldnt go all the way into the ignition. I looked into it with a flash light and realized that there was little bronze colored chunks. I looked to check my key to see if it had broke, but my key was perfectly in tact. So then I figured someone just recently tried to steal my car. (with an autolock on.. IDIOTS!)

IN A NUTSHELL>> WHAT DO I HAVE TO DO TO REPLACE MY IGNITION? STEP BY STEP PLS? THE CHUNK OF KEY IS LODGED INSIDE ABOUT 90% of the way.

MMMM that I don't know. I'm still a noob at car repairs. I just changed my ignition but my key still worked. I don't know if you will have to drill it out or just flat out bust the lock completely...I
