will 20s fit on a 65 stang rims are 20x8 with a tire size of 245 35 20 i need to know if they will bolt up with no fit prob and if i use these rims does the car have to be lifted

good luck putting those on..i would say you would most likly have to lift it and for sure cut out the inner fender lips.. i had trouble fitting 17's on mine without doing anything.

please dont put 20's... then you have to raise it and it will look like those ghetto scraper cars..... but its your car to each his own i guess...

I say do it a buddy of mine has the 20" bullits and it sits perfect (withought lifting it). Its a 64 1/2.

don't do it...and what size tire is that guy with a 64 1/2 using? i have a 67 and i'd have to roll and work the inner skin to fit a desent size tire. plus 18's on your year will almost look like 20's cause you wheel well is smaller that's why most guy's your year stick with 17's

if u buy a wheel with the right back spacing and width and then buy the correct size tire u can almost what ever u want on there. ohh yeah and
x3 on the NO 20's!

I think 18s should be the biggest on a classic but thats just my opinion.
