I recently got a 93 GT and everything has been working great but when i got into my car this morning i realized that the front air vents are not working. They have been working for the last 3 months but now they crapped out on me. No matter which setting i have it on whether it be vent, floor, mix, ac, or max ac all the air is just rushing out the defrost vent and the floor. Before when the button was on the off position and i turned it to vent it seemed like it made some sort of clicking sound in the dash somewhere. Im just wondering if it something simple or something thats gonna be a pain like doing a heater core. IF anyone has any advice please help me out. Thank you guys!!

Check your vacuum line under the hood to the vents. You have them switched your holding the door stuck in one direction. I've done that before when i replaced an engine.

I have never touched it though. Do you think it would just get switched by itself or just failure of the unit? I know where the a/c hose is. Are the vacum lines nearby? or how can i spot them? thanks for the info!

the vent output is controlled by vacuum, having a leak, a broken vacuum line, or anything like that will make the vent door not move.

Defrost is the default setting (from Ford) when you have no vaccuum. Go leak hunting.

Good luck
