I have a 91 mustang, and just put in a tfs stage 1 cam .
Do i need a steel or cast distributor gear ?
What was stock ?

Roller cams use a steel gear.

WHat is the cam gear made of? I'm gonna guess theres not too many aftermarket iron cams (not to be an ass). Just have to match the cam gear with the same distributoer gear. so like the above post I'd say steel.
