I've read back pressure in exhaust is good for torque and I've read your engine runs better with no or little back pressure. Please explain these sides and tell your opinions. I dont understand why back pressure would add torque?

Also if there is a benefit would the source of the back pressure (tubing size change)be more helpful immediately after the headers. Or further down the pipe. Ex. After X/H-Pipe

I'm gonna just go 2.5" pro-chamber with the adapter after the headers since no one has any opinion or ideas about back pressure but I know enough that 3" exhaust is gonna sound like garbage.

Did You do a search on backpressure? I just did and around 40 matches came up. If You don't find what You are looking for then do a search on www.corral.net . Sometimes a topic like this has already been done.
