You can get a quick number for a short time using a stock block or get a good block with mild parts and have a motor for a long time. What is your goal? As fast as possible or something thats gonna last? Do you wanna be 302 based or are more cubes an option? A quick tried and tested 10 second combo is a high compression 347 with a Victor JR. set up, add a little juice and 9's are right there.<br /><br />If it were me Id get a 347 high compression (12-13-non driver) with a carbed Victor Jr. set up and be good.<br /><br />Oh and go big the first time theres no sense in spending tons of money on port work when the same flow can be had for $100 at the initial buy. S trim pullied & powerpiped will push a stockblock to it's limit's without the extra cubes. I say do it rite with a good block and then stroke it out to about 360 cubes and work from there. <br /> </font> </td></tr> </table></td></tr></table> <br /> <br />
