I understand most Ford dealers can recal my speedo due to a gear swap...anyone know how much I should expect to pay?

I highly recommend Kris' mobile speedometer service. He'll come out to you and change your gear if that's what you need. He's done a couple speedo calibrations for me. Kris used to work at Palo Alto speedo and decided to start his own business. He charges LESS than the shops BTW.
Look him up in the yellow pages if interested.

If you have a hand held tuner i believe you can change it through that, or hopefully a shop doesnt rape you too bad.

my 89's speedo was purchased for $14 and put in by hand, in the dark with no tools. Granted I didn't do it myself but its was done and has been fine now for 4 years.

oddly enough, I just found a used Diablosport on another forum for 150.00 shipped...this is probably what I'll do, plus give it a tune...
