The biggest difference the Cobra has a forged crank.... with 8 bolts...... and the MK VIII has a cast crank with 6 bolts.... the intakes are different and the exhaust cams are different... but you are looking at only about 10-15 hp difference.......

Timing cover, Intake, oil pan, crank, exhaust manifolds, exhaust cams, and a few other small items. You won't see a difference if the existing Cobra parts are swapped over.

The timing cover is the same as the Cobra. 93-95 Mark VIII's don't have Beehive valvesprings, only 96-98 have them. [ May 23, 2007, 08:27 PM: Message edited by: 1fast281 ]

If the 98 GT has an auto you need the Mark VIII ECU to control the 4R70W and the IMRC's, if not you can use the Cobra ecu.
