Hello, I am planning on buying a new 5.0 block through Summint Racing and then purchasing a 347 stroker kit. I would like to know what would a good company to go through for this kit. Thanks for the information. Aaron

It really depends on what you plan on doing after you set up your stroker motor.... are you going to keep it N/A or are you adding a S/C or Nitrous....the big suppliers like CHP or DSS are great kits.....with forged internals... or save a little money with a cast kit from a place like powerhouse.... it really depends and what your future plans for the engine are........ either way drop me a line and we can decide on a great set-up for you........

Yeah N/A is the way to go with a 347.... the cost to prepare a 347 for a power-adder is much higher... and the cost to keep it reliable is much higher also... 347 is a great set-up for many people...... don't rule out a 331 kit or just a 306 option too...keep in mind all the associated upgrades you are looking at to really see the performance from the stroker kit..... will also add to the cost....
