stock with key on engine off is 30 psi, key on engine running is 35 psi. you can bump it up to 43-45, but in my opinion put it at what pure stang said and stand behind your car with the car on and see how bad your eyes burn after a few seconds.

*Im not sayin what pure stang said is wrong, but i would put it no more than 40 psi. Also, at wide open throttle, the fuel pressure should be the same as it is when the car is at idle --rick

The vacuum from the motor kicks the pressure down when you first hit the throttle, then it should come back up as the motor needs the fuel.

I'm pretty sure the pressure should acutally go UP at WOT.

At idle, with the vaccuum line hooked up to the regulator, manifold vaccuum will "pull up" on the regulator. As you go WOT, manifold vaccuum drops to 0 (i.e. relative to atmospheric pressure) and nothing is "pulling up" on the regulator fuel return valve.

When you set FP, you should set it with the vaccuum line off of the regulator and plugged up.
