Topic: Where to find main caps for a A4 302?

Hi everybody,
I just bought a a4 racing block that was in storage for 6 years and the owner i'm buying this block from claims he lost the main caps.
he said i can find some at pro gram engineering
but had no luck there...
anyone know of a place that i can use to replace my main caps? i have access to a line bore machine,just need some 4 bolt caps.i think they where iron if not mistaking. ![[burnout]](graemlins/burnout.gif)

Did you get a good deal on the block?
The caps won't be cheap. Try calling Milodon they make angled 4-bolt caps for 351w and 351c for like $275 a set.
What about FRPP?

yeah, I got a deal..new block bored .030 then was put in storage due to lack of funds .thats what the owner claims.I bought it for $800 less main caps.but i know what im getting into and thats my wallet.i have access to a machine shop/build shop .will 351w caps work on a 302?
I contacted pro gram engineering and they are right now searhing around for what they got via my casting numbers from the block..I'll let you know if I have good luck there ![[patriot]](graemlins/patriot.gif)

the A4 has splayed main caps. The 351 stuff won't work. As others have suggested, call FRPP, 800-FORD788.
