i have this 01 lincoln ls and i have a problem for some reason it wont start, it cranks but it just wont start. all the fuses seem to be fine. someone said it was the fuel pump changed that and still it wont start. anyone that can help in here???? thanks

did you check for spark or fuel pressure?
only need a few things for a running engine -
compression spark fuel pressure ignition timing
...

by checking the spark you mean checking the spark plugs right? what do i look for when checking the spark plugs??

spark or fuel...
check fuel pressure, also check crank sensor

pull a sparkplug out and lay it on a shock tower bolt so the plug is grounded and crank the engine.

this may be obvious, but did you check the inertia switch? Has the car ran since the pump was replaced? Trying re-setting the inertia switch.

i did try that but it didnt seem to do anything i tried this a couple of times. thanks mnstruc, anymore ideas just let me know.
still in need of help!!

spray starting fluid in the intake. if it starts that means you have everything but fuel
