i pulled the codeds and got 66 low voltage to mass air meter.the car runs good when cold, but when it running warm the idle drops from 850 to 700ish and runs like a cylinder is not getting spark yet it does and return running back to normal.theres no smoke coming out of my tailpipes.head gaskets are about 2 hour old
i switched fuel harnesses, swaped air meter electrics, and i still get the coded 66.
what could it be?coil?o2 sensors?map?
Another problem i'm having is the breather is exhausting moderate amounts of white smoke.is that from valve seals?or blow-by? [BS flag]

back to the basics, did you do a compression test on all the cylinders after the head gasket replacement?

hey ,
i found out that i don't have a o ring on my mass air electronics sensor (the sensor part that plugs in the air meter housing)no o-ring...
will that set off the code 66 low air meter voltage???
once again, when my car runs up to temp.it seems to run like its on seven only, then cleans up
and runs okay..it does it on and off.
what i know is it has spark, air, fuel, even compression, but when the car gets stupified the vacuum goes from 14-15 down to 7-10 like i retared m timing.wtf [Confused]
tommorow i plan to check the timing @ wot to see if its advancing or not.then once running warm, check each injector
with a stethascope to verify whether there starting to stick..
any chance of a coil slowly burning out?i've been running a msd6al w/stock coil for a while.btw i've recently unpluged the msd and had no change with my current prob. [Confused] [BS flag] [Confused]
thank you all for taking sometime to help me out
I really appreciate it yall:patriot:

That is crazy I am having the same problem in my 98 GT w/ the same symptoms. I tried checking "somethings" but nothing gives. Mine will also hesitate or bog down and then go back to normal under acceleration. I was thinking a clogged fule filter or bad injector because I can hear what sounds like a tick coming bank 1.

sucks huh.fyi, my car is an 1988 lx.yeah dude that sucks,i think your car might be a lil'harder to find the prob due to cam or crank sensors.
its all [BS flag] good luck bro.
