I have a 1990 5.0 with an auto. what are the stock gear ratio in the diff? Thanks.

or mark the driveshaft an put a mark on the hub or wheel. an count hany time the driveshaft spins to one time around of the wheel.

It can be a 2:73,3:08 or even a 3:27 with that year and trans combination.There is no standard gear.You can check the tag on the rear cover which will have ratio as well.It is the numbers located right near the cover bolt,you MAY need to remove it to read it.
It will have a Number such as 2,3 etc...followed by 2 letters and then 2 more number.
So it can Look like this
Example: 2ld73
The ratio would be 2:73
