They sound alot better with a smaller pulley and the right exhaust...

if you already have the extra catback, slap it on one weekend and see how you like it.

same here, I've had a O/R x-pipe with LM1's on my fox for little over a year..and believe what bluelightning said because its pretty damn loud. I've had a buddy that lives nearly a mile away from this street I was driving on, call me at 2am right after I just got on it through 2nd gear and said "are you driving your car? because I can hear your car clearly from my house.."..it then hit me that my car was way TOO loud..haha [patriot]

I've had a few diff exhaust set-ups on the 2 Cobra's i've had.

I hated the sound of the car(s) with an o/r X and any straight through design muffler.

Bassani X + Dynomax 3" CB = Too much Rasp [Mad]

Bassani X + 3" Flows (40s) = Loud but very nice [Big Grin]

UPR X(w/ cats) + Mac 3" CB = Fit was much better than the 5 piece Bassani X, a little quieter and sounds sick [worship]

I persoanlly don't like the sound of SLP stuff [Roll Eyes]

There will be no difference in power.
We had a 660RWHP cobra on the dyno & removed the Bassani mid-pipe & catback to see if it was a restriction. (un-corked 1&3/4 longtubes)
HP & TQ was within 1 accross the board....virtually no difference.
