I just recently bought a mustang in what it had appeared to be an 87 t-top. Apparently the owner was not much of a 4-eyed fan when I decided to check the vin. To my amazement, i discovered its true identity -- an 86 GT. Got it for a reasonable price, but now I want to maintain its original appearance by switching it back to an 86 nose instead of its aero nose. WHAT PARTS ARE NEEDED TO MAKE THE CONVERSION BACK TO ITS ORIGINAL APPEARANCE? So far I know I will be needing Hood, bumber support and bumper cover...Any other parts, thanks!

What dash does it have? How about tail lights, 1/4 windows, side moldings, etc? Are you sure its not just an early 87?

All you need is the headlight harness and bady panels.
I've got an entire 86 clip sitting here as well.

The dash is a grid-pattern instrument panel. Also has the 10-hole 15x 7 cast aluminum wheels. Also the steering wheel has a 2 spoke pattern. The 1/4 windows have been upgraded. The side moldings, well it has the Gt symbol on it by the rear wheel fender...I dont think its an early 87..
