anyone have any tricks...I dont want to pay to have it done it costs too much

buy the window tint removal stuff. Follow the direction on the bottle and go to town with a razor blade.

Man, I wish I knew of this stuff before I ruined my defroster!!!

if you have a steam cleaner for clothes all you do is just steam up the tint side for a while and peel the tint complete off with the adheasive, a razor blade and some tint of will take ALOT of time.

And, the razor will do an amazing job of ruining your defroster!

I've heard oven cleaner works well from the tint guy that works at my dealership....I've yet to try it though....

When i got them done on my 3000gt they sprayed a chemical on and 2 mins later wiped off the tint i tried taking it off on my stealth and its hella hard and looks like shit JUST PAY THE MONEY WELL WORHT IT

ive used a blow dryer to warm the glue up and it comes off pretty easy...

it depends on the tint on mine i got it started and it peeled right off and used brakekleen to get the glue off

i've read that steel wool works well for the rear window as it is less abrasive and will not damage the defroster
