Alright, I have to get my car smogged in a few months and I was wondering how some of you guys pass. I have long tube headers, o/r x-pipe, and flowmaster. My car is a 2000 GT by the way. I will be putting the stock midpipe on, but how do I pass with the headers?

Well if they check under the car your screwed. You cant and wont pass with long tubes. You will either have to swap those out or have a hook up.

Take it to a place that does not have a really picky visual. The bottom line is that if you don't have CARB legal parts on your car there is no guarentee you will pass.

Try to find a place that does mostly imports. I've found that if they aren't familiar with Mustangs, they don't notice the parts that aren't supposed to be there.
