Stock... Ford did a pretty good job on matching the set up you currently have.

well if ur gonna put heads and intake and shit, why the hell would u wanna use a stock cam, with a stock cam u'll be holding back on alot more power.....also depends on what his setup is and what he plans to do?? see i dont know....

what is a 272s ? i went to comp cams and searched and got this :
Searched full and partial Part Numbers and Grind Numbers for "272s". There are no matching results found online at this time.

search summit for comp 274, its the extreme energy line of EFI roller cams. I believe this cam is what 95chris stang was trying to tell you about.

what do u have done?? and why do u choose to run a stock cam when u can have so much more power with an aftermarket one....????
A stock cam gives You great driveability and stealth. A power adder can more than make up the difference in performance over a cam swap not to mention that usually a power adder is a easier job,withthe exception of maybe a turbo. smog will be much easier with the stock cam. Now if You are building an engine than it would be unusual to stick with the stock cam.

i guess i pretty much was refering to building an engine......u can have a cutom cam made that would be stealthy and and have fairly good reliabilty.....plus a cam doesnt cost $3000, but to whom ever his own...... [ March 11, 2007, 06:44 PM: Message edited by: F8LSN8K ]
