Any one running a carburated stang with a blower? Want to put one on an old school 66 with a 306. I am running Keith Black hyperutecnic pistons too. Dont know if I should go centrifugal or roots style. Has anyone heard anything one way or the other? My car weighs 2600 lbs so I dont have to go crazy, just want something though.

Paxton makes a centrifugal one for carbed applications, 6-8 psi i think. not too many roots style anymore(holley, b&m?)

That car was pretty sick. Do you know what blower he was running and at what psi? I have 9.8 to 1 compression with stock ported and polished heads, dont want any detonation.

He's runnin' a B&M blower with 11psi. 9.8:1 is gonna be a bit high for a blower. You may be able to get away with it if you have a REALLY good tune but it will by kinda if'y

What do you think if I only ran a 6 lb boost. Should I be okay then? The guy who assembeled my heads said they coule be 9:6 to 1 compression at the lowest, and 9:8 to 1 at the highest.

I am thinking doing the 6lb too. I can always upgrade pulleys later when I decide to build a 331. Thanks for the advice. That B&M roots style looks clean and sounds mean. Think that is what I will do.
