just recently bought used headers and hpipe, wanted to know what i could do to clean them up a little? Will i be able to sand them down a little and spray them with a high temperature spray paint? don't want to have them jet coated or anything, just a clean simple cheap way to clean up and protect. thanx [ January 25, 2007, 07:29 PM: Message edited by: sizzln91hatch ]

I've used exhaust paint before and it usually peels off pretty quick. Not sure what to suggest other then getting them professionally coated.

hi temp paint works, but only if you heat cycle it like the directions say, otherwise it flakes off
