I think its plausible? Maybe we need the mythbusters but whats your opinion, if its not 100hp could we add 50hp like a dry kit? I say yes but what electric blower motor would work? Never seen one on a car though. To create 60hp from an electric motor requires 44,742watts of electricity or, 44KW. That's equivalent to 3,728.5 amps at 12V or if you want to run it off an inverter, then 406amps at 110v. Show me a car with enough generator/alternator power to supply 3,728.5 amps. This is the reason that nearly all devices which have to move air on such a scale by electric means use 3 phase 220V systems.
