I usually start out at 11.5-12 #'s on et street's, but I have a 10 inch rim so they don't look as low as You would think.

We are talking about at the drag strip rite? Ever car is different so start where You feel comfortable and drop a pound at a time.

http://www.mickeythompsontires.com/tech.php?bulletin=s3 scroll to the bottom of the page and read what it say's under "et street radial" it say's do not start below 11 #'s and opperate between 12-16 #'s. I am not trying to tell anyone what to run in their tires but I have made well over 100 passes on ET Street's at 11-12 #'s with no issues and no high speed wabble. Like it say's on their web page start where You feel comfortable and drop 1/2 pound pressure till You reach optimum traction. [ January 07, 2007, 01:58 AM: Message edited by: SmokinLX ]

on my ET streets on the street I run 16, at the track before the burn out I drop the pressure down to 11.5. the heat usually raises the pressure about half a pound to a full pound of pressure.

not worried about gas mileage. once I get to the spot I drop the pressure. last time I tried 15 psi. on vht. I thought I busted the rear end. I heard a loud bang! Then back to the wheel spin.

I don't care one bit about gas mileage so that's not why. My car gets around 18-20 mph if I take it easy but if I'm on it then shit who knows. Its probably gallons per mile at that rate.
If I'm going in a straight line then I'll drop it 10-12. I state street is 21-24 for normal street driving where I'd be taking turns at fast speed and doing a little of everthing, more along the lines of a daily driver. The last thing you want to do is air down too much and take turns such as on and off ramps or other fast sharp turns. Definitely no canyon carving or road racing LOL. So if I'm just going in a straight line as in the track or say a street race then its 10-12. But if I'm doing regular street driving and I just want to be a little ready for the sucker that wants to fool around and race a little then its 21-24. And even still at that psi I don't recommend doing corners fast.

25-28 psi on the street.
15-18 psi at the track.
I can never have just 1 set psi as it varies each time out at the track
Seems to be working fine for me (see sig)
