'06 gt spec 2+...

I never broke in a racing clutch. I have done about 350 city miles of driving. last night I was cruising down the hills in danville with a blue mach one. my clutch started to smell at high rpm's. I want to run my car hard. any comments?

What do you have for a racing clutch. Twin disc, single disc? What typw of material If it is kavlar, you need to break in the clutch by heating it up (jump on it hard) cool down and repeat this about 4 times. Other matl. is like you have done...about 350 to 500 miles of varied driving...no hard pulls.

Kavlar is broken in by heating the matl. wait 30 minutes between pulls...like Kavlar brakes, the hotter they get the better they grab.

ok, so from what I understand... dump it one time out of the hole..then shut it down for 30 minutes. repeat this process three more times. then, I'm all good?
