What you will need is buy a set of pistons that are 4.030" and a crank that has a 3.250" crank.<br /><br />Take your stock block along with the pistons, crank and rods to a machine shop. They will bore the block, having them balance the rotating assembly (crank, rods, & pistons) and have them assemble the short block along with a new cam.<br /><br />That will give you the 331 cubic inch short block you are looking for. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="smile.gif" /> <br /><br />You may want to just look for a pre-assembled short block.
