Pulled the no.1 plug. Car hesitates alot and backfires a little sometimes under part throttle. Fuel is 6.5psi and timing is 14• at idle.

I would say "No!" they have some soot on them, I'd change them and put some regular old autolites and check all your cap/rotor wires as well. let us know if it runs better afterwards?

so i ended up just replacing the plugs, cap/rotor and oil/filter. one of the plugs was totally fucked and the rotor was fucked too. drives ALOT better now .

Wasn't sure if you had any numbers at 3K or not. Seems like it's a little hot too. My experience has been about 10* at idle, but every car is different. Rev it to 3K and check your total timing and make sure it's not too high. [ November 25, 2006, 01:37 AM: Message edited by: PonyXpress ]

its totally differant when you use a demon. they suggested 16 but i said hell no, so i put it at 14 and it seems to run good at that.

Great choice of carbs. Got one on the beast. Best carb I've ever had. Glad your car is running better though.
