Run them behind the stereo, splice into the dash lights and the 12v ignition there, should be easy since they are right by where your tach will be mounted.

Right behind your radio will be a dash light wire for your stereo and also a 12v IGN for your stereo, just splice in however you were taught to splice.

get it worked out yet? Where in san jose u at?

If you have a test light that will help quite a bit, turn on your lights and look for a hot line, the one that goes off when the lights are off is the dash lights, do the exact same to find 12v ign, just turn the ign on and off.

it's easiest to just run the backlight wire to the light by the ashtray, and get the 12v+ from the cigarette lighter.

my guage's backlights dim with the dimmer for the dash [Smile] It's nice when driving at night.

i connected all the wires the lights work just the rpm stays at zero i connected the black one to where the battery gets ground and the green one to the negative side of the ignition coil please help

if you have an msd the tach green wire needs to get it's signal from the tach output on the side fo the msd box.

if you dont, try the other coil wire.

no msd just stock ignition and put the green one the negative side of the coil and is the other one the black wire to engine ground is that good or is the one that make it work the green one
