so i just checking the oil today and yes it was low.. but as i pulled the whole piece came off including the tube for the dipstick.. hehe. and i cant find the hole to put it back!

Are you using a flashlight? Its pretty visable, looking between the header primaries of #7 and #8 cylinder. Make sure you put the dipstick back on a header bolt.

i just had the same issue and it was such a pain in the ass, especially since the last owner installed headers and didnt do the clearencing on the travel tube lol... so with issues and some bending i ended up putting it between # 6 and #7 for the time being till i can get a flexible after market tube. [Embarrassed]
