Okay, so I have this '69 Stang and I bought new rotors, new calipers, new bearings, new seals, new pads, new brake hose, and I had the dust shield & caliper brackets blasted.
I can not for the life of me figure out how I am suppose to mount the damn the caliper! The caliper doesn't even fit between in the "opening" on the bracket so the pads sit where they need to be on the rotor and there is no where to bolt the thing on! HELP! Here's some pics....

All help appreciated.
Edit: Couldn't get the pics to work, so just click on the link I guess. Also, in pic 1 there is a weird metal bracket thing that only came with the passenger side caliper, the drivers side does not have it.
Edit 2: So no one here owns or knows anything about 69 Mustangs? Come on, someone out there has to be able to help me out. [ September 21, 2006, 12:13 PM: Message edited by: MustangNate ]

ive got a 70 mach 1, i just took all my brakes off recently but the newer looking metal thing on there wasnt on my car. use a c clamp to open up the caliper to where it needs to be the caliper should bolt to the spindle. the nuts go through and the caliper should be threaded. I dont have any to look at so im just going off memory, when i sold the brakes i think the caliper just came right off the spindle. Is this a aftermarket brake kit or is it stock, and do you have drum brake spindles or disk brake spindles?

those look like the Granada/Monarch swap I just put on my '65 (the mounts that are on the car).
Do you have the old brake hardware? Compare the calipers and mounts and i bet they are different from the stuff you bought.
